DLC-ID

Founded in 2015 by Jon de la Cruz, De la Cruz Interior Design (DLC-ID) is a distinguished residential and hospitality interior design firm based in San Francisco. A James Beard Award nominee and House Beautiful Kitchen of the Year winner, de la Cruz brings a singular vision to each project, marrying modern design with distinctive vintage pieces and bespoke furnishings across a body of work that ranges from Michelin-starred restaurants to private homes on San Francisco’s Gold Coast. His hospitality work, described by the San Francisco Chronicle as “Dinner as Theater,” includes Che Fico, Wayfare Tavern, Protege in Palo Alto, and the Castro Hotel, and has been featured in Architectural Digest, House Beautiful, and Luxe Interiors + Design.

de.MO was commissioned to develop a new brand identity and website for DLC-ID, interior design branding work that transformed a plain typographic logo into an ownable visual identity strong enough to anchor and elevate the firm’s presence. The clean, considered website was designed as a canvas for de la Cruz’s work: restrained, precise, and entirely in service of the spaces it showcases.
