Elizabeth Mayhew

Elizabeth Mayhew is an interior designer, lifestyle expert, and author, a contributing editor at NBC’s Today Show, monthly columnist for the Washington Post Home section, and founding Brand Editor for Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James. She has served as editor at Real Simple, House Beautiful, Southern Living, and Woman’s Day, and runs The Dutchy, an artisanal bakery in the Hudson Valley.

de.MO has collaborated with Elizabeth Mayhew across many years and many formats, a long-running creative partnership spanning branding, book design, and publication design. During her tenure as Editor-in-Chief of Woman’s Day, de.MO designed two books published by Filipacchi: The Woman’s Day Everyday Cookbook and Help It’s Broken! by Arianne Cohen. de.MO subsequently designed FLIP! for Decorating, published by Ballantine / Penguin Random House, her widely read interior design and decorating book, and developed the brand identity for The Dutchy, supporting the launch of her artisanal baking business in the Hudson Valley. The work shown here represents a selection from a collaboration that continues to this day.
