The Adelphi Hotel

The Adelphi Hotel is the only remaining Victorian-era hotel in Saratoga Springs, New York, a landmark property on Broadway, built in 1877 and a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Following a $28 million renovation, the 32-room property reopened as one of upstate New York’s premier luxury boutique hotels, home to Salt & Char, branded by de.MO at its launch under Chef Gray Kunz, and rooted in the history, horse racing, and natural mineral springs that have defined Saratoga Springs since the 19th century.

de.MO was engaged to develop a new logo and a proposed interior concept for the flagship hospitality property, luxury hotel branding, and hospitality interior design work spanning the lobby, three food and beverage areas, and guest rooms. The concept was guided by a single idea: a historic luxury property that has evolved gracefully over time, accumulating character rather than erasing it. Fashionable and forward-leaning in its aesthetic, the design was conceived to meet the sensibilities of the most sophisticated traveler while remaining rooted in the heritage and sense of place that make the Adelphi irreplaceable.
